Simon Wyndow – Celebrating four years at All Med Pro

This week sees me into my fourth year here at All Med Pro, and what a whirlwind few years it has been. There have certainly been some challenges. I was brought into our business in August 2019, my task from the board was to set up, develop and manage our Life Sciences department, and grow and support new and existing corporate Dental Insurance clients. And finally, to support a select number of dental associations.    My first 6 weeks into employment with All Med Pro saw me becoming a dad for the second time, I was again changing nappies and dealing with an alien situation: A baby who refused to sleep without being led on either Mum or Dad. Why is the second child often a lot harder than the first?

After a few short months of project planning, business development and networking, Covid-19 hit humanity. Just like 7.75 billion others, the pandemic presented various commercial and personal challenges, I was blessed to work alongside a team comprising of wonderful, exceptional people (friends!). Instead of being furloughed, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to help the All Med team to help and support our clients in the dental sector. I recall those initial weeks and months of the pandemic, the days were long, tough, and demanding. However, with sincere personal thanks, we got through troubling times together; supporting one another, (albeit from afar) and this is something I will never forget!

Fast-forward to November 2021 and I was back to my day job. The last 9 months have flown by, it has been both exciting and rewarding. We have gained several new clinical and exciting new Life Sciences clients. These new All Med Pro members are a combination of university spinouts and start-ups, across established businesses and Clinicians. We are active members of many Life Sciences networking organisations and I am soon to be taking up co-working space in a Life Sciences park (All Med HQ is going nowhere!). I am super excited for the coming 12 months.  On a personal note, I also feel privileged to oversee All Med Pro’s relationship with a particular Dental Association. Developing relationships is one of the reasons I get out of bed to go to work!
